Netflix only carries one season of the horror series "From." See which countries stream it, what's confirmed about a bigger Netflix deal, and how to watch.

Short answer: not really, and not in the US. "From," the MGM+ horror-mystery series starring Harold Perrineau, is not a Netflix Original. As of July 31, 2026, Netflix carries only season 1, and only in a handful of European markets (Sweden, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, and Bulgaria) plus Netflix MENA. Everywhere else, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and India, "From" lives on MGM+, Paramount+, Stan, Sky/NOW, or Amazon Prime Video, depending on the country. A claim that Netflix acquired broader streaming rights has circulated online since mid-2026. VPN Super could not find a studio or trade-press source confirming it. See the fact-check section below before you plan a binge around it.

"From" is a science-fiction horror series created by John Griffin, produced by the Russo brothers' AGBO and MGM Television. It follows the residents of a nightmarish town in the United States that traps anyone who drives in and won't let them leave. Season 1 premiered on Epix in February 2022; the network rebranded to MGM+ before season 2 arrived in 2023.
Because "from" is also just a common English preposition, a lot of searches for the show get lost in unrelated results. This guide is specifically about the TV series: Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, the Man in Yellow, the whole nightmare-town premise.
Quick definition: a show is "geo-restricted" when a streaming service only licenses it for certain countries. The same title can be on Netflix in one country and completely absent from Netflix in the country next door, because rights are typically sold region by region rather than worldwide.
"From" is licensed a little differently in almost every territory, which is exactly why it's hard to get a straight answer about Netflix. As of this fact-check (July 31, 2026), here's the breakdown:
| Country | Platform | Status |
|---|---|---|
| United States | MGM+ (also via Amazon add-on channel) | All 4 seasons; season 5 in production |
| Canada | Paramount+ | Seasons 1–3 confirmed; check for later seasons |
| United Kingdom | Sky / NOW | Seasons 1–2 confirmed on Sky Sci-Fi; rollout of later seasons unconfirmed |
| Australia | Stan | Seasons 1–3 confirmed |
| New Zealand | TVNZ+ (free) | Seasons 1–3 confirmed |
| India | Amazon Prime Video | Available; not on Netflix |
| Middle East & North Africa | OSN+ | Available |
| Sweden, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria | Netflix | Season 1 only |
| Most other countries (incl. US, UK, Canada, Australia, India) | Netflix | Not currently available |
Last verified July 31, 2026. Streaming rights change often, so always confirm inside the app for your account's country before you commit to a plan.
If your own Netflix library doesn't show "From," you're not missing a hidden menu. It most likely just isn't licensed there yet. That's where connecting to a server in one of the countries above comes in, which VPN Super walks through in the how-to section further down.
Unconfirmed as of July 31, 2026. A post on X (formerly Twitter) claimed Netflix had "officially acquired the rights" to stream every season of "From," with the season 4 finale arriving on Netflix "next year." The claim has since been repeated across r/FromSeries and other fan threads.
VPN Super checked for a matching announcement from Netflix's newsroom, Deadline, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter (the outlets that normally break streaming-rights deals) and found none as of this writing. MGM+'s own confirmed news points the opposite direction: it renewed "From" for a fifth and final season on April 15, 2026, reported by The Hollywood Reporter, with no mention of a Netflix move. Treat the acquisition claim as unverified fan speculation until a studio or trade outlet confirms it. VPN Super will update this section if that changes.
Four seasons have aired so far:
On April 15, 2026, MGM+ renewed the series for a fifth and final season, so the story is heading toward a conclusion rather than an open-ended run. There's no confirmed premiere date for season 5 yet.
If "From" isn't showing up in your Netflix (or MGM+, Paramount+, or Stan) library, connecting to a server in a country where it's licensed is the standard fix. Here's the process with VPN Super:
VPN Super's free tier covers 20 countries on iOS and 15 on Android, which includes several of the markets in the table above (including the Netflix season-1 countries). If you specifically need a country that's Premium-only, such as the US, Canada, or Australia, you'll want Premium, which extends to 64 countries and 104 locations on iOS and 58 countries and 78 locations on Android, plus Windows and Mac.
VPN Super has dedicated apps for Apple TV and Android TV (Premium only), so you can connect on the big screen instead of routing through a phone or router.
Picking a country to unlock a show is only half of what a streaming VPN is doing for you. The other half is what happens to the connection itself, and it matters even when you're just watching TV.
Public Wi-Fi (coffee shops, hotel lobbies, airport lounges) is shared infrastructure. Anyone else on that network can potentially see unencrypted traffic passing through it. Streaming a show over hotel Wi-Fi without encryption means the network operator, and potentially other guests on the same network, can see which sites and services you're connecting to. VPN Super encrypts that connection before it leaves your device, so what you're streaming stays between you and the app.
ISPs also engage in traffic shaping: slowing down or deprioritizing specific types of traffic, including video streaming, especially during peak hours. Because an encrypted VPN connection hides the type of traffic from your ISP, it can prevent that kind of selective throttling from kicking in.
There's also a simpler point: your ISP can otherwise see every domain and service you connect to, streaming included, and build a record of it over time. Routing that traffic through VPN Super removes your home IP address from the equation, and VPN Super's apps do not track or store your browsing activity.
Server coverage differs by platform. Here's what's currently available, based on VPN Super's internal feature matrix (last checked July 2026):
| Platform | Free | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| iOS | 20 countries / 42 locations | 64 countries / 104 locations |
| Android | 15 countries / 26 locations | 58 countries / 78 locations |
| Windows | Not available | 64 countries / 104 locations |
| Mac | Not available | 64 countries / 104 locations |
A basic kill switch is available now on iOS, off by default; a full kill switch shipped in June 2026. Android's kill switch is launching in July 2026, also off by default. Windows is scheduled to get a kill switch in August 2026, with Mac to follow later. DNS and IPv6 leak protection run at all times on iOS and Android, regardless of kill switch settings.

Not confirmed. A social media post claiming Netflix acquired global rights to "From," with the finale coming to Netflix "next year," has circulated widely since mid-2026, but VPN Super found no matching announcement from Netflix, Deadline, Variety, or The Hollywood Reporter. MGM+'s confirmed news is that it renewed "From" for a fifth and final season in April 2026, with no mention of a move to Netflix.
Four seasons have aired, running from February 2022 through April 2026. MGM+ has renewed the series for a fifth and final season, though no premiere date has been confirmed yet.
New Zealand's TVNZ+ carries "From" for free. Most other platforms carrying it, including MGM+, Paramount+, Stan, and Netflix, require a paid subscription, though some offer limited free trials.
VPN Super has apps for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac, plus dedicated Apple TV and Android TV apps for streaming directly on your television. Connect to a server in a country where "From" is licensed, then open the relevant streaming app.
